Bouncing, Wagging and Playing

Ok, today(26th March 2007) was a better day, he's more like a puppy should be with his behavior. Still abit shy and timid but had a play today. He barked at his own reflection in the patio doors and on the glass door on the cooker. We played fetch, which was so cute, he seemed really proud of himself. Tried to play with the cat but the cat gave him a slap.
So I think he's beginning to settle in - cool. I can start relaxing abit.

First Day at Home - Dead Do Do?? Do Do Dead!!

Ok, first day (25th March 2007) was pretty stressfull for all, the cat was coughing up fur balls, the missus was being sick all night,(must have caught a bug) and the dog was doing what puppies do, poo and wee everywhere. I live in a house of poooooo!
So as you can see from the picture Archy was pretty nervous, very timid and very shy. He just wanted to hide, and sleep and poo and wee and poo.
I didn't sleep well, not just because of this weird persons talking in tongues next to me in bed (the missus vomitting all night) but because I thought the dog would never settle and I was feeling guilty for taking him from his dog family etc.etc. Lets see how tomorrow is??

Meeting Archie for the first time

Well it was the Saturday 24th March where we went to see Archie at the breeders. There were westies and westie/poodle crosses. I think they are called westipoos, and also Cavipoos. I had'nt told my little boy(Ethan) as it was going to be a surprise but all the way through the hour journey to the breeders, he didn't stop nagging. Wanting to know where we were going and why we just could'nt just go to the local park and play football instead. Anyway, Archie looked different from the rest of the puppies, only in the eyes. Don't know why, but we all agreed that he was the one. (Me, Andrew my brother and Ethan)
